The leaderboard will score surfers on a monthly basis depending on how much coverage they receive in top UK surf mags: Carve, Pitpilot and Wavelength. The holy grail will be a cover shot buying surfers the maximum number of points. Points will also be scored for pull-out posters, featured articles, and adverts. Those pieces with greatest print space will receive the most points.
At the end of the year the surfer with the most exposure points will be crowned MyProSurfer.co.uk champion and will be awarded an undisclosed cash prize.
Notes on scoring
Surfers - in order to be scored surfers must be either affiliated with the UK & Ireland OR photographed on waves in the UK & Ireland.
Photographers - in order to be scored photos must feature a valid surfer OR feature a surf lineup OR be accompanied with a caption. Adverts must contain clear acknowledgement.
