Wavelength September 2009...
Issue 186
Summer is finally winding down, holiday makers are getting ready to leave and the first unruly, yet powerful swells of autumn are starting to grace our beaches, it’s a happy time. To make life just that little more gleeful Wavelength’s 186th issue has just materialised onto the shelves of newsagents country wide. Can you believe we are on issue 186, that’s a lot of pages we’ve put together over the years, we’re the oldest surf mag still functioning in Europe you know? We get better with age too, and we’re only a few months away from our thirtieth year and just a few issues from the big 200, so it’s going to be fun times ahead. But I digress.
The latest issue is stacked; Selway enlightens us with some funny tales from his archives with some sick shots to accompany them.
Jersey lad James Hick has been charging some truly pornographic slabs in Oz, and bringing some new perspectives along with it.
There’s a crazy arse gallery, a chance to win a board, The Boardmasters in all its glory and a tidy little piece about the state of our waves. So stop reading this and get out there and buy a copy, yew!
As usual there is also a very nice board to win, this month it is an Escape Screamer, you can enter through the mag or click below and get the details on line.
