MyProSurfer.co.uk aims to raise the profile of the UK surf industry.

Each month, the website offers a running leaderboard of the most exposed pro surfers in the UK. Exposure is measured by the coverage each surfer receives in three of the top UK surf magazines: Carve, Pitpilot and Wavelength.

The surfer scores more points depending on the extent of their coverage. For example, the holy grail is a cover shot buying surfers the maximum number of points. Points will also be scored for pull-out posters, featured articles, and adverts. Those pieces with greatest print space will receive the highest score. To see a complete list of scoring click here.

At the end of the year the surfer with the most exposure points will be crowned MyProSurfer.co.uk champion.

We want to reward surfers who are pushing the boundaries of surfing and representing the country on surf trips both local and overseas. At the same time we are publicising the UK surf mags and photographers that give these surfers coverage.

The website will also offer general surfing information such as breaking news, how-to surf tutorials, pro surfer and photographer profiles, contest coverage, and much more.
